Job Description:

Seeking A Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager that acts as the primary liaison between business clients and insurance carriers, managing renewals, policy endorsements, and client service for commercial policies. Must focus on retention, risk assessment, and coverage accuracy, with active Property & Casualty licensing and 3-5+ years of industry experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Servicing: Manage day-to-day service needs, including policy renewals, coverage questions, endorsements, and auditing.
  • Client Relations: Act as the main point of contact, providing expert advice, resolving problems, and building strong relationships.
  • Underwriting Liaison: Negotiate coverage terms and premiums with carriers on behalf of clients.
  • New Business Development: Identify cross-selling opportunities and round out accounts for existing clients.

Job Requirements:
  • Licensing: Active Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
  • Experience: Seeking 3 to 7+ years of commercial lines experience.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverage types, and risk management.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g., Applied, Vertafore) and MS Office.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, analytical, multitasking, and negotiation skills.
