Job Description:

SUMMARY: A growing Oil & Gas company in downtown Wichita, KS is looking for a strong financial and production accountant to join their team!

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable posting
  • Field phone calls from owners regarding questions about JIB’s and/or revenue
  • Work with pumpers to make sure gauge reporting is up to date
  • Monitor and provide management with detail on outstanding A/R
  • Revenue distribution and data entry
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Administrative support work such as filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Production accounting
  • Severance tax filings and administration

    • Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in accounting or comparable field
  • 2+ years experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Experience using WolePak, QuickBooks, and PetroBase would be preferable
