Job Description: Seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer with strong communication and interpersonal skills to support product design, project management and manufacturing documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary engineering contact for customers during projects
- Develop and update designs using CAD software: AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Manage projects from initial sale through final delivery
- Create assembly drawings and bills of materials
- Collaborate with mechanical teams and manage workflow
- Maintain organized project documentation and drawings
- Design and develop new products and improve existing products
- Support manufacturing environments with prototyping and testing activities
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure use of current approved drawings
- Provide recommendations based on engineering principles and data analysis
- Create, modify, review, and approve engineering drawings
- Maintain accurate document control
- Conduct mechanical system analysis and support product and process development
- Prototype new products, equipment, and manufacturing processes
- Manage assigned projects, including scheduling and organization of deliverables
- Ensure all engineering work meets customer specifications and company standards
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope

- 2+ years of previous experience in mechanical engineering or mechanical design
- Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Experience creating manufacturing and assembly drawings
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
