Job Description: Accountant should have the ability to conduct a wide variety of detailed accounting duties and projects, including familiarity with full cycle accounting (payroll, AP, AR, GL) and office administration; savvy in Excel, have experience with ERP systems or various Accounting systems, have excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain a team-oriented environment; ability to review and analyze current processes for potential improvements and meet timelines in completing assignments with deadlines and due dates and have strong integrity and ethics.
Duties
- Register with governmental agencies, and file tax reporting and annual reports.
- Prepare and own general ledger balance sheet activity and reconciliations including bank accounts, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, debt, and intercompany activity.
- Manage expense management program and policies.
- Manage and reconcile lease amortization schedules.
- Prepare and analyze month end entries, including accruals, allocations, and eliminations.
- Prepare reports and analyses as needed for management in a detailed and timely manner.
- Provide payroll review and payroll processing back-up support.
- Assist Corporate Controller and CFO in various accounting projects.
- Function as a backup for various functions in the Finance Team.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Familiarity with GAAP, Lease Accounting
- Able to properly register and report with governmental agencies
- Must possess excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Microsoft Office experience required including proficiency in Excel spreadsheets.
- ERP experience preferred
