Established Company looking for a Manufacturing Engineer.
Job Description: - Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve manufacturing processes or products or to reduce costs, using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standard, or product design, materials, and parts.
- Analyze costs and benefits of proposed designs or projects.
- Design layout of equipment or workspaces to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Apply continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.
- Develop technical methods or processes and provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing.
- Work with management to Incorporate new manufacturing methods or processes to improve existing conditions.
- Perform facility layout and planning for optimum manufacturing efficiency.
- Develop and oversee plans for implementing projects.
- Communicate manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes and prepare documentation.
- Design, oversee installation, or troubleshoot industrial and production equipment, or systems.
- Determine causes of operational problems or failures.
- Train production personnel in new or existing methods and proper operational procedures.
- Identify equipment, materials or part requirements and coordinate with Purchasing to procure.

- Project management skills preferred.
