Job Description: San Francisco Plaintiff's Personal Injury Firm is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to add to the team. The firm focuses on catastrophic injury and wrongful death in product defects, premises liability, transportation, and construction accidents. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: ‚· Corresponding and communicating with clients ‚· Serving pleadings and discovery ‚· Preparation and service of subpoenas ‚· Filing in State and Federal Courts ‚· Scheduling, maintaining, and updating calendar ‚· General administrative duties, including reviewing mail ‚· Assisting in litigation paperwork

Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will have five+ years of experience, preferably in Personal Injury. Must be well-organized, extremely detail-oriented, and tech-savvy. Must possess excellent document preparation, typing, and prioritization skills. The ideal candidate has a strong worth ethic, is flexible and able to multi-task, and enjoys working as part of a team. Experience with civil trials preferred (scheduling witnesses, organizing exhibits, etc.). A qualified candidate must meet the following requirements: · Bachelor's Degree (ideal) · Must have a minimum of five+ years experience as a legal assistant (preferably plaintiff-side) · Proficient usage of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Pro · Must be well organized and detail-oriented · Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated · Comfortable working in a fast-paced office · Able to manage numerous cases simultaneously under deadline pressure · Must have the ability to identify urgent tasks and prioritize time accordingly · Must be able to multi-task and adapt to changing situations, priorities, and deadlines
