Please note: There are 2 openings for the role.

Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:15 pm and Monday to Friday, 8:45 am – 5:00 pm

Job Description:
  • This person will support a team of litigation and transactional attorneys. Occasionally assist with overflow projects at the Partner level
  • Prepare standard litigation court filings in various jurisdictions, including creating tables of authorities and tables of contents
  • Draft, format and revise transactional and litigation documents
  • Identify and organize documents for closings of real estate transactions
  • Prepare initial checklists, research possible forms of documents, organize documents and signature pages for execution, produce and transmit uniformed closing sets once executed

Job Requirements:

The candidate must demonstrate high competency in litigation as follows:

  • working knowledge of terminology;
  •  assist with filings; and
  • maintain knowledge of outside agencies, courts, and other relevant resources.

The candidate must demonstrate high competency in the transactional field as follows:

  • possess working knowledge of corporate terminology and documents; and
  •  assist with closings;

The candidate must be technically proficient in Microsoft Office 2016 or 2019 and Windows 10. (A skills assessment on Microsoft Word 2019 is part of the application process.)

The candidate must be able to perform these specific PC tasks:

  • redline documents;
  •  create tables of contents and tables of authorities; and
  • prepare electronic court filings (USDC, Lexis/Nexis, etc.).
