Job Description:

A locally based labor and employment law firm is seeking an associate with 2-5 years of litigation experience. The ideal Associate candidate will manage discovery, prepare motions, conduct depositions and interviews, and support partners in pretrial work. Will also provide research, counseling, and advice to employer clients on hiring, firing, and compensation issues.

The firm offers a generous compensation and benefits package, promotes a positive work-life balance, billable hours requirement is no more than 1700, and is open to candidates working remotely.  Can be based anywhere, 100% remote!

Job Requirements:
  • 2 to 5 years of litigation experience required; employment litigation experience is a must; wage and hour/PAGA experience is a plus
  • Must have excellent academics from a recognized, accredited law school
  • Organized, flexible, and has effective time management skills
  • Excellent research, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
  • Requires initiative, a strong willingness to learn, and sound judgment
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks simultaneously
