Job Description:
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with compliance department as needed/required.
  • Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Accountable to support a work environment that fosters positive employee relations.
  • Responsible for employee relations, employee performance appraisal process, benefit administration, talent acquisition, compensation administration, compliance, recordkeeping/HRIS for assigned entities and departments of the health system.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all human resource activities.
  • Conduct regular meetings with respective health system entity and department director and/or top executive.
  • Be regularly present in/at departments and entities to field questions, assess morale and provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Coordination of new hires, promotions, transfers.
  • Participates in general orientation and works closely with education to insure all appropriate training is provided.
  • Provide guidance and input on entity and/or department restructures, workforce planning, succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for entity/department and individual executive coaching needs.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Administration with 5 years experence.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to influence and lead teams to conclusion/decision making.
  • Proven ability to think strategically but also must be able to lead day-to-day tactical processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and provide coaching and leadership on complex projects.
  • Must be able to lead and/or facilitate process improvement.
  • Strong skills in using software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, HRIS.
