Successful commercial real estate development company looking for a Construction Services Project Manager in Wichita Kansas.
Job Description: - Facilitate, manage, and mentor direct reports during the pre-development, pre-construction, and post-acquisition due diligence phases.
- Assist internal and external stakeholders with project scope and objective definition and provide technical feasibility advice and guidance.
- Lead and manage consultants, internal direct reports, and contractors to complete the work according to the established construction documents, project schedules, budgets, and milestones.
- Act as owner’s advocate and liaison with governmental agencies and utility companies during project development and scope negotiation for necessary improvements and/or capacity issues.
- Solicit, negotiate, evaluate, and finalize AIA design and consultant agreements.
- Solicit construction bids, pre-qualify contractors, and hold pre-bid conferences for construction bidding and finalize AIA construction agreements.
- Facilitate regular coordination and review meetings with internal and external project stakeholders such as subcontractor bid review meetings, construction progress meetings, and meetings to clarify project RFIs.
- Perform and facilitate close-out activities.
- Manage warranty process and verify final construction costs on cost-plus projects.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and offer recommendations that deliver more efficiency and accuracy.
- Establish and maintain business community relationships and identify business development opportunities.

- Valid Class D driver’s license and insurable driving history.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience managing commercial real estate development and/or construction projects,
- Minimum of 2 year of experience managing internal and external project team members and collaborating with all levels of an organization.
- 10 years of experience managing commercial real estate development and/or construction projects.
- 4 or more years of experience managing others
