Summary:
The Software Support Specialist will be responsible for day to day support, maintenance, testing and training of SmartVMA software applications. Provides Technical Assistance to end users for a Corporate Manufacturing entity in downtown Wichita.
Job Description:
- Focus on end user troubleshooting
- Manage queue of support tickets
- Train end users on applicable software packages
- Escalate issues to vendors as needed
- Work on database/back end set up to prepare for new client use
- Interact with end users, vendors, and other participants to ensure the efficient utilization of systems according to industry standards
- Ability to communicate with non-technical users
- Monitor and implement cloud solutions using vendor specific cloud technologies (Amazon Web Services).
- Performs many duties involving IT functions including, but not limited to, network, servers, clients, Internet, Intranet, and database administration
- Cross-train as needed to support or back up team members

Job Requirements:
- Associates’ degree or BS in Computer Science, MIS, or other technical field preferred.
- 3 – 5 years of help-desk experience required.
- Medium level proficiency with MySQL preferred.
