Job Description:
Manage financial aspects of the IT department, including purchasing, budgeting and budget review.
Keep current with the latest technologies.
Develop training programs that ensure that all staff members are proficient in operating and maintaining computer and phone systems.
Develop, implement, document and maintain effective facility maintenance policies, procedures and programs. To include PM on all computer software and hardware, and all phone systems.
Manage and provide cause for proper control and care of computer and phone inventories of supplies, spare parts, shop tools and equipment.
Over see and provide cause for proper maintenance shop(s) conditions to be maintained to safe working conditions, safe working procedures, and in a clean and orderly work environment.
Prepare and provide to management team specific reports and documents. To include, but not limited to, work schedules, purchase request orders, department operating budget, capital improvement budget projects, special project reports, updates and/or recommendations, and event reports.
Oversee related contracted maintenance agreements.
Develop bid specifications, renewal agreements, and manage all other related items to ensure that acceptable and quality performance levels are achieved.
Maintain and update VM Ware infrastructure, CISCO infrastructure, and Exchange directory. Ability to maintain efficiencies on POS systems.
Keep an eye out for dangers and security flaws in computer networks and systems.
Install, modify, and update firewalls and security software.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology related field preferred.
Strong background in Cyber Security.
Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications, POS installation and updates, network and PC operating systems.
Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, VMware, storage, protocols.
Comp TIA A+ Certification.
