Job Description: We are seeking a Retail Sales Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team to success.
Duties
- Meet individual and store sales goals while leading and maintaining a winning and objectives-driven team of 2 employees.
- Support, mentor, and motivate your team so that they can reach their fullest productivity and sales potential.
- Ensure that profitability goals for the showroom are consistently achieved and exceeded.
- Lead professional account acquisition and sales engagement.
- Design and implement forward-thinking methods for increasing sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Measure, track, and analyze sales performance by individuals and the sales team as a whole and coach your team on how to develop action plans to achieve goals.
- Recruit, hire, train and develop new team members.
- Make sure all product is merchandised and priced accurately.
- Manage and protect store assets for optimal return.
- Learn and stay on top of the industry products, key home remodeling trends, and industry news.
- Assist with materials handling when deliveries arrive, or customers are getting material loaded out.

Job Requirements:
- A minimum of one to three years of related sales management experience.
- Retail sales or flooring experience a plus.
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate numerical data and to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
