A global law firm is seeking a Recruiting and Professional Development Assistant to provide general administrative support to the HR / Recruiting Department. This position can be based in San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Palo Alto. Open to considering recent college graduates, with administrative and client-facing experience in a law firm or professional services environment. Looking for candidates that are on a recruiting track.

Job Description:
  • Provide administrative support, such as answering/screening calls, organizing applicant documents, setting up virtual meetings, sending testing requirements to candidates, and other logistical items for staff recruitment
  • Handle applicant correspondence and process all incoming applications
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team in the on-boarding of staff and assist with other duties including developing orientation packages, annual open enrollments, planning events
  • Maintain applicant tracking system to identify qualified candidates for open positions; utilize outside sourcing resources to identify candidates

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years’ experience in recruiting or human resources, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment, highly organized, and strong attention to detail
