Job Description: Summary:
Professional firm is seeking an experienced Payroll / Data Entry Specialist who is detailed, organized and works well in a time-sensitive position.
Responsibilities:
- Process all payrolls – Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly, Monthly, and special. Includes time card management, payroll calculations, and maintaining employee deductions.
- Conduct new employee orientation – Guide in completion of paperwork, set up various employee logins, coordinate benefits enrollment, maintain files and required documentation.
- Administer 401k plan – calculation of employer matching, submitting contributions, assist with year-end reporting.
- Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
- File worker’s compensation clams and unemployment claims.
- Reconcile and process employee benefit premiums, report hiring and terminations.
- Responsible for monthly calculation of employee time off and adjustments for terminations or pay changes.
- Work with management to administer policies consistently and equitably.
- Additional accounting work in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable as needed.

- 2+ years of payroll processing experience. Multi-entity and commission payroll processing experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Payroll Plus (ADP) system a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and process information discreetly a must!
- General accounting clerk experience preferred.
- 1+ years of experience with office administration and data entry.
