Manufacturer is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to facilitate bi-weekly payroll for Manufacturing, and Trucking division.  This position implements Human Resource Information System, ADP updates and reporting features.

Job Description:
  • Prepare and verify accuracy of payroll with Payroll Manager for Mfg and Trucking.
  • Produce payroll reports and send to Corporate Finance and leadership team, as required.
  • Calculate Earned Time Off (ETO) and Vacation Payout for hourly and salary employees on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor accuracy of ETO and Vacation monthly accrual for employees on Leave of Absence.
  • Process monthly commission reports for Sales Leadership teams.
  • Process monthly deductions for community organizations and United Way.
  • Update payroll information for employee transfers and promotions.
  • Process employee resignations and ETO and vacation payments.
  • Process Over the Road Driver bonus payments.
  • Assist in updating employee bi-monthly increases and annual rate changes.

ADP, Human Resource Information System

  • Produce Percentage of Time Missed Report at end of month for management team.
  • Produce monthly reports for leadership team.
  • Process monthly payroll reports for Corporate Finance.
  • Update employee transfers, promotions, and resignations in ADP.
  • Review accuracy of new hire set up and payroll features in ADP.
  • Trouble shoot issues in ADP and work to resolve them.
  • Research and implement efficiencies in running ADP software. Recommend opportunities to make ADP easier for our employees and managers to use.
  • Create reports out of ADP upon request.
  • Complete EEO-1 Reporting as needed.

Job Requirements:
  • 3 -5 years of experience in Payroll and Human Resources record keeping of confidential information
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office including Word and Excel spreadsheets to include formulas and pivot tables.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle confidential data and information
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
