Job Description: Leading Kansas medical group looking for an experienced Medical Billing Specialist for it’s Wichita, Kansas operation.
Duties to include:
- Medical Billing and follow up on past due claims for Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Compensation in a timely manner.
- Verified insurance coverage, obtain pre-authorization for services, procedures and surgeries, collect co-payment, patient balances at time of service and beyond.
- Prepare appropriate legal documents, and collection calls on all past due worker comp accounts.
- Certified coder with experience in evaluation and management codes, lab and x-ray.
- Infusion therapy billing experience will be a plus.
