Job Description:

As a Material Control Clerk, you will perform a variety of inventory control tasks such as pulling and kitting parts, stocking parts on inventory shelves, physical inventory counts and issuing parts to technicians at a will-call window. You’ll support the labs who manufacture and repair products for the best customers from all over the world – from general, business and commercial aviation. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be great at counting small parts and really understand the value of accuracy.

Duties:

  • Handle, count, and package high quantity of parts weighing just a few ounces up to 30 lbs.
  • Pick finished goods and parts in accordance with sales order requirements.
  • Enter inventory data and accurately assign serial numbers in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Label and accurately locate received finished goods into proper inventory stocking location.
  • Deliver parts to labs, inspection and other areas of the building in a timely manner.
  • Pull parts for new product manufacturing.
  • Perform counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

 

Job Requirements:
  • Previous experience with inventory control, bill of materials and cycle counts.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficient with computers and programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to load, unload, stack, carry, push and pull.
