Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery with precision, adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures
- Specific handling activities include, but are not limited to, moving raw materials from a receiving warehouse to the manufacturing floor, and then staging and pre-weighing materials in preparation for scheduled production orders.
- Must be technology savvy as process controls are managed via a computerized control system.
- Manage raw materials from prestaging through the manufacturing process.
- Stage raw material chemicals, including pre-weighing, to support production orders.
- Strictly follow manufacturing processes and formulations to ensure product consistency.
- Measure and add raw materials in accordance with defined procedures.
- Operate proper startup and shutdown of manufacturing equipment.
- Monitor production lines to ensure consistent quality and efficiency throughout the shift
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly
- Follow detailed work instructions and documentation processes for each production batch
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Assist in setup, changeovers, and maintenance activities as needed to minimize downtime
- Contribute to safety initiatives by reporting hazards and participating in safety meetings

Job Requirements:

- Prior experience in manufacturing or a related industrial environment is preferred but not mandatory; we value motivated learners!
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to specified weights, and perform physical tasks safely
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and safety compliance
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
