Responsibilities

  • Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery with precision, adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures
  • Specific handling activities include, but are not limited to, moving raw materials from a receiving warehouse to the manufacturing floor, and then staging and pre-weighing materials in preparation for scheduled production orders.
  • Must be technology savvy as process controls are managed via a computerized control system.
  • Manage raw materials from prestaging through the manufacturing process.
  • Stage raw material chemicals, including pre-weighing, to support production orders.
  • Strictly follow manufacturing processes and formulations to ensure product consistency.
  • Measure and add raw materials in accordance with defined procedures.
  • Operate proper startup and shutdown of manufacturing equipment.
  • Monitor production lines to ensure consistent quality and efficiency throughout the shift
  • Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly
  • Follow detailed work instructions and documentation processes for each production batch
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Assist in setup, changeovers, and maintenance activities as needed to minimize downtime
  • Contribute to safety initiatives by reporting hazards and participating in safety meetings

Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Understanding of electronic control systems desired.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or a related industrial environment is preferred but not mandatory; we value motivated learners!
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to specified weights, and perform physical tasks safely
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and safety compliance
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
  • Willingness to work the 2nd shift schedule, including potential overtime as needed
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, or technical systems.
