Job Description:
- Plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Respond to manufacturing issues and concerns to ensure products are produced to specifications and according to manufacturing schedules while insuring efficient use of resources.
- Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
- Provide producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
- Provide technical expertise cross-functionally.
- Execute engineering and planning changes including revising released work orders while maintaining system integrity.
- Investigate new technology, benchmark best practices and assess resource requirements.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects.
- Trouble shoot repetitive rejections, prepare and complete action plans to drive issues to root cause/corrective actions.

- Minimum 5 years of related experience as Manufacturing Planner, Manufacturing Engineer, and/or Tool Planner within the aviation industry
OR
- 10 years in a manufacturing/fabrication aviation environment
Skills:
- Must be able to prioritize assignments and work with minimal supervision while focusing on key task with limited time and resources.
- Effectively liaise with quality, purchasing, production and other departments.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written.
- Experience with Microsoft office tools is mandatory.
- The ability to interpret and comprehend engineering drawings and specifications is mandatory.
- Experience with an ERP system is mandatory; experience with M2M is preferred.
- CATIA or Enovia experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to collect, organize and analyze data, summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
- Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
