Law Office Manager
Boutique intellectual property law firm in Silicon Valley is looking for a skilled and proactive Office Manager, with solid accounting experience. Will be an integral part of the team and support the partnership in all aspects of the daily operation. Seek candidate interested in a career with professional development and long-term growth potential. Full time (35 hours per week), Monday through Friday, on-site.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Firm’s accounting (via QuickBooks), including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account reconciliation.
- Preparation of monthly client invoices, including via billing systems.
- Employee payroll.
- Maintaining and monitoring Firm’s 401(k) plan, insurances, and taxes, including managing outside vendors.
- Human resources support, including recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.
- Office operations, including serving as landlord liaison, maintaining office supplies, and planning firm events.
- Assisting with client engagement.
- Some general reception duties – answering phones, distributing mail and deliveries, greeting visitors, preparing outgoing mail, etc.

Job Requirements:
- Experience with law firm or other small business operations.
- Skilled in small business accounting.
- Strong computer skills, including QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook and Word (ideally also Excel and PowerPoint).
- Flexibility in terms of willingness and ability to perform a variety of tasks as needed.
- Self-starter who takes pride of ownership in projects and is willing to learn from others.
- Reliability in being in office on time and consistently during scheduled hours.
- Highly experienced candidates will be compensated commensurate with experience.
- Experience with law firm or other small business operations.
