Summary:

Wichita-based leader in automotive equipment manufacturer is seeking an IT Helpdesk professional, responsible for assisting the Network Administrator in the operation and maintenance of the personal computer network, hardware, and software applications.

 

Job Description:
  • Troubleshoot printing and network connectivity for all users.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Office applications and perform end user training.
  • Will perform network audits and layout of all technology items.
  • Inquire from end users on systems productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist with day to day IT operations, primary emphasis on help desk support.
  • Research new technology, stay current on technical literature and industry standards.

 

Job Requirements:
  • College, trade school or professional training in network support, with emphasis on help desk.
  • 2+ years help-desk experience required.
  • Must have experience in all Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Access.
  • Will study and become proficient in Crystal Reports.
  • Must have the mechanical expertise to setup or repair individual computers and the network system. 
  • The ability to organize and prioritize daily workload.
  • Must be able to work as a team member.  
  • Ability to read, interpret and transcribe written material, hear and speak clearly enough to interact appropriately with others in person and on the telephone.
