Job Description:

Boutique intellectual property law firm in Silicon Valley is looking for a skilled and IP/Trademark Paralegal. Full time (35 hours per week), Monday through Friday, on-site. 100% paid insurance!

Responsibilities:

  • ECF filing and service of federal court documents.
  • Maintaining case calendars and ongoing docket of deadlines, update events as cases progress through stages of litigation, and monitor and remind attorneys and teams of deadlines.
  • Managing intake of new cases and maintenance of client files, including upkeep and archiving of firm and client records – set up, organize, maintain and archive electronic files.
  • Assisting in the word processing and cite checking of legal documents, including review of legal documents for errors and accuracy as to citations.
  • Maintaining familiarity with court rules.
  • Handling confidential and sensitive materials from clients and other parties.
  • Coordinating with attorneys on document production and review processes, including acting as interface with e-discovery vendors and review platform providers.
  • Assisting with billing-related responsibilities.
