Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Partner with compliance department as needed/required.
Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Accountable to support a work environment that fosters positive employee relations.
Responsible for employee relations, employee performance appraisal process, benefit administration, talent acquisition, compensation administration, compliance, recordkeeping/HRIS for assigned entities and departments of the health system.
Maintain confidentiality in all human resource activities.
Conduct regular meetings with respective health system entity and department director and/or top executive.
Be regularly present in/at departments and entities to field questions, assess morale and provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation.
Coordination of new hires, promotions, transfers.
Participates in general orientation and works closely with education to insure all appropriate training is provided.
Provide guidance and input on entity and/or department restructures, workforce planning, succession planning.
Identify training needs for entity/department and individual executive coaching needs.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Administration with 5 years experence.
Strong communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to influence and lead teams to conclusion/decision making.
Proven ability to think strategically but also must be able to lead day-to-day tactical processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage and provide coaching and leadership on complex projects.
Must be able to lead and/or facilitate process improvement.
Strong skills in using software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, HRIS.
