National Hotel / Hospitality Group is seeking Human Resources Generalist to support HR Management at Corporate level.

Job Description:
  • HR Generalist responsible for providing a wide range of support to management and staff
  • Recruiting
  • Employee relations
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Apply local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Training managers on HR processes
  • Respond to legal and government inquiries on wage and DOL claims, EEOC claims, and lawsuits
  • Work closely with third party vendors and other team members regarding other HR processes Maintains records of all employee relation matters
  • Meets with Executive level Managers of Operations regularly
  • Understand functions of other positions within the department that support this role including HRIS processes, benefits, leave of absences, garnishments, job description creation, employment verifications, unemployment claims, background and screenings, onboarding, and other HR functions.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5 years of related HR experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience without degree
  • SHRM or PHR/SPHR certification preferred but not required
  • Exceptional communication and technological skills
