Job Description: A growing Materials Handling Equipment distributor is seeking a Field Service Technician.
- Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations.
- Operating a company truck in order to make service calls in the field.
- Interface with site maintenance/engineering personnel regarding equipment condition.
- Communicate with the office frequently during the day so that work can be scheduled and completed on a timely basis.
- Perform OSHA required crane and hoist inspections via company-issued iPads.
- Participate in monthly safety meetings.

Job Requirements:
- 2 Years of prior industrial electric motor and control experience is required.
- A strong background in AC and DC electromechanical and solid-state motor control systems.
- Experience in 3 phase power, control voltage, radio controls, and VFDs.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. (Able to troubleshoot without prints on occasion.)
- Ability to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team.
- Basic computer skills.
- OSHA Hoist and Crane inspection training.
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Demonstrate great customer service, must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Ability to work overtime and able to travel and work out of town on occasion.
