Summary:

Successful commercial real estate development company looking for a Facilities and Maintenance Manager.

Job Description:
  • Assign and manage work performed by maintenance technicians, vendors, and contractors on Wichita area portfolio (650,000 SF)
  • Review weekly activities and timesheets. Ensures accuracy for property charge-backs and bi-weekly payroll.
  • Manage facility maintenance calendar including commercial tenant work order requests and ongoing, recurring activities and preventative maintenance standard operating procedures to established budget.
  • Establish, evaluate, and update facility maintenance and capital improvement budgets at the direction of the Senior Property Manager.
  • Manage procurement process by reviewing and assessing contracts, invoices, and evaluating costs against established budget.
  • Maintain equipment inventory, storage, and distribution.
  • Maintain files for warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
  • Establish facility maintenance and safety procedures, processes, and training.
  • Responsible for regular facility walkthroughs and reports to maintain current property condition records.
  • Suggest and implement cost savings and efficiency measures to decrease operational costs and maintenance response time.

Job Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or similar role.
  • Certification in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.
  • Prior experience managing others and establishing operational processes or guidelines.
  • Previous experience compiling and interpreting MEP financial documents and key performance indicators to drive decision making.
  • Valid Class C Driver’s license.
  • Previous facilities management experience in a multi-building commercial real estate portfolio.
  • Facilities Management certification ideal.
