Summary:
A premier international law firm is actively seeking a driven and self-motivated and hardworking professional to join their staff in NY or DC as their new DEI Specialist. In this role, the DEI Specialist will assist the D&I Department leadership to further all firm diversity initiatives, including, Affinity Group programming, learning and development, events, data management and analysis, internal and external client interface, diversity & inclusion industry trends, and administrative support.
Job Description: Please note this is a support role to department leadership. We are looking for candidates with some DEI exposure ideally, in addition, to experience in the following four areas:
- Budgets/quantitative aptitude
- Event planning/coordination
- Demonstrated research experience
- Experience compiling materials for presentations (plus PPT experience)

- Minimum of two years relevant experience, preferably in corporate or law firm environment(s). Law firm experience is preferred but not required.
- Meeting planning experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Cross-cultural skills and awareness.
- High level of proficiency with data management, analysis, and reporting.
