Responsible for overseeing the entire estimating process, from initial research and data collection to finalizing estimates and presenting them to the project team.
Analyze and interpret data from blueprints, drawings, specifications, and other documents.
Develop cost estimates for projects. Identify potential problems with cost estimates and develop solutions.
Prepare reports for management on project costs and status.
Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
Monitor the progress of projects to ensure accuracy of estimates.
Maintain and update cost estimating databases.
Job Requirements:
Construction estimating: 3 years (Preferred).
Must have a strong understanding of the construction industry and excellent communication skills.
