Job Description:

A multi-disciplinary firm specializing in civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture and planning for public and private developments is seeking an experienced Civil Designer/Drafter to assist our Municipal/Capital Improvement Projects department.

Job Duties:

  • Design and oversee construction projects, such as roads, bridges, and buildings
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects
  • Use design software to create engineering blueprints and schematics
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to determine project needs and requirements
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for potential projects
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to team members

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Experience in Civil Engineering design
  • Proficient in AutoCAD C3D/Civil 3D (surfaces, corridors, pipe networks, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction document drawings
  • Capable of working in a team environment or independently
  • Capable to visiting active construction sites
  • Capable of working in fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
  • Good communications skills (written and verbal)
