Job Description:
  • Ensuring the efficient and successful delivery of services including: deposit account management, funds transfers, ACH, and check processing settlement to community banks.
  • Maximizing the effectiveness and productivity of staff, as well as driving efficiency through streamlined processes and effective use of technology.
  • Establishing and maintaining a culture of excellent customer service and satisfaction is a critical function of this role.
  • Develop and execute an operating plan for the department
  • Provide operational, technical and functional expertise in developing and maintaining policies and procedures to deliver accurate and timely transaction processing and meet the bank’s service expectations
  • Maintain operations in compliance with applicable regulations and laws and keep the department in audit-ready condition
  • Ensure daily functions are managed effectively and efficiently
  • Assist with project management as it relates to system testing and implementation
  • Ensure operational risks associated with department functions are properly identified, documented and mitigated
  • Act as an escalation point for problem resolution and decisions
  • In the absence of support staff, complete day-to-day operations including after-hours support

Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years of operations management experience
  • 5 years of bank operations preferred with experience in the areas of: deposit accounts, ACH, funds transfer, fed funds and check processing
  • Proficient knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC, NACHA Operating Rules and Privacy Rules
  • Industry Accreditation such as, Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) or National Check Professional (NCP) helpful
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate
