Administrative Assistant





Compensation: $50,000 to $ 65,000 DOE

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

A mid-sized public accounting firm is seeking an Administrative Assistant.   Hybrid role working from office and home.  Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel & Adobe Acrobat.

Job Description:
  • Organize and scan tax data to CCH Scan/Autoflow/Document Maintain the E-filing system, release tax returns and scan signed 8879s.
  • Process and e-file or mail extensions for tax deadlines.
  • Performs general clerical duties for all including typing, copying and filing.
  •  Processing tax returns, scans and financial statements as needed.
  • Special projects for Firm Accountant and Firm Administrator
  • Daily administrative duties assigned by Firm Administrator.

Job Requirements:
  • Must have good computer skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous office experience 3-5 years required.
  • Any exposure to working in a CPA firm or accounting department helpful.
  • Experience scanning documents and creating PDF ‘s preferred.
  • Ideal candidate will have history or working with scanning documents, changing, and saving document using Acrobat Adobe.
