Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of IT to lead our organization’s technology vision and infrastructure. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of information technology, ensuring robust security, seamless system operations, and innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for technology leadership, a deep understanding of IT governance, and the ability to manage complex projects within a fast-paced environment. As a key member of senior leadership, you will champion digital transformation initiatives, foster collaboration across teams, and ensure our IT systems support organizational objectives effectively.
Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive IT strategies aligned with organizational goals, emphasizing innovation and security compliance.
- Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions, and major modifications to IT network.
- Daily management of technical staff.
- Management of telephony system.
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure including networks, servers, databases, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Oversee system administration tasks including Active Directory management, virtualization (vSphere), SAN storage solutions, and server management to ensure high availability and performance.
- Manage cybersecurity protocols by implementing firewalls, VPNs, network security measures.
- Drive software development projects utilizing technologies.
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies to minimize downtime during unforeseen events.
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware/software procurement while negotiating service agreements to optimize costs and service quality.
- Knowledge and ability to support ticketing system and POS transactions.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws including intellectual property law considerations; maintain documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.

Job Requirements:
- College degree preferred in a related field. 8-10 years of direct experience in duties will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience with the below technical competencies:
- Microsoft 365/Exchange Online.
- Active Directory/Entra Active Directory.
- On-premises file sharing and cloud-based file management.
- Enterprise grade wired and wireless network infrastructure.
- Server systems administration.
- Enterprise grade Voice over IP (VoIP) Telephony.
- Point of Sale Implementation and Administration (preferred)
