Job Description:

We are searching for an experienced litigation secretary that can successfully manage a desk of three attorneys, one partner, and two associates.  It is a heavy litigation desk specializing in legal and professional malpractice, in addition to administrative duties for the partner.  

Job Requirements:

Ideal candidates should have at least five years of experience as a litigation secretary, preferably supporting multiple attorneys at a time. This position requires experience in all phases of complex litigation from beginning phases of discovery through trial and appeals, including the ability to calculate and calendar legal deadlines in accordance with statutory local, state, federal and administrative rules. Candidates should be proficient using legal technologies including Word, Outlook, and Excel and be comfortable, able creating Table of Contents, Table of Authorities, and Jury Instructions. Experience with ProLaw or another document management system preferred. Strong candidates will have excellent communication, organization, grammar and proofing skills. Candidates should be dependable, have a positive attitude, a team player approach and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
