Job Description:

As the Aftermarket Manager – Aerospace you will support and promote the Sales of the Service and Parts Department in an up-beat manner which ensures customer confidence. Coordinate activities and cooperate with other departments to best serve the needs of the customer. We are looking for an experienced candidate young in their career with the ability to grow into the company and the sales department.

Duties:

  • Answer and direct Sales & Service enquiries.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies.
  • Provide leadership and training to accomplish the goals and objectives of the department.
  • Assign duties and supervise work.
  • Review and approve employee timecards and time off requests.
  • Collect expense reports.
  • Responsible for completing employee performance reviews in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate travel, flights, hotels, rental cars, etc.
  • Compile inventory counts and prepare purchase orders for procurement of supplies.
  • Maintain FAA Repair Station Files.
  • Generate quotes and process sales orders.
  • Ensure raw material levels are there to support operational needs.
  • Research and resolve customer problems or feedback.
  • Compose and type miscellaneous correspondence and reports, faxing, filing, copying, etc.
  • Keeping the supervisor/ manager informed of progress and any issues.

Job Requirements:
  • BA degree in business or related field preferred. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) acceptable for individual with required background.
  • 2+ years of office management experience in service and sales department.
  • Some relevant experience in the aviation industry in the last 5 years.
  • Must have ability to understand and follow work orders, shipping orders, process specs.
  • Knowledge of managing FAA Repair Stations Files helpful.
  • Proficient computer skills such as Microsoft Office as well as other manufacturing software.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a leading and a supporting capacity and provide leadership while navigating and accomplishing departmental goals and objectives.
  • Standard managerial tasks such as revision of employee work, training, completion of employee performance reviews, and timekeeping.
  • Travel may occasionally be required.

Compensation: Starting up to $80,000 a year with a Comprehensive Benefits Plan
