Job Description: This position is responsible for managing the company’s quality control, quality assurance, and product development program. The Quality Control Manager will supervise employees and ensure that all materials, processes, and finished products meet industry standards, client specifications, and company objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans, procedures, and standards for asphalt, concrete paving, and ready-mix production.
- Supervise and conduct testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to verify quality and performance.
- Assist customers and sales in specifying and submitting correct mix designs based on specifications and field experience.
- Monitor production processes to identify and address deviations from quality standards.
- Schedule field coverage for on-site quality control work as required by project needs.
- Provide customer support in resolving quality concerns and problems in the field.
- Interpret test results and recommend changes if needed.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality control activities, including test results, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Oversee calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Communicate quality control information to relevant organizational departments.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety policies in all work environments.

- Three to five years minimum experience in quality control, quality assurance, or operations.
- Degree in engineering, industrial manufacturing, construction management, or related field preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read and understand technical standards and project specifications.
- Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician or equivalent preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
