Job Description:
Support probate and insurance defense civil litigation practice groups.
Drafting and responding to probate pleadings, draft and review civil discovery.
Maintain and organize legal files
Communicate with clients and witnesses, requesting and organizing medical, employment and other records.
Prepare medical chronologies, basic civil pleadings and documents, and assisting with trial preparation.
Review of discovery and drafting responses, coordinating case investigation witnesses.
Support for estate planning and bankruptcy with similar functions of file management and document preparation.
Job Requirements:
Previous paralegal experience ideal.
Would consider legal secretary with some civil, probate and litigation background.
VERY solid skills, proficient software, general office and communications.
Professional demeanor and presentation.
Stable work history in a supportive / administrative role.
