Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations in the construction industry. This key leadership role is responsible for managing production, maintaining safety and quality standards, supervising staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and timely delivery of construction products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands and project timelines.
- Ensure cost-effective, efficient plant and fleet operations with minimal downtime.
- Monitor product quality, working closely with the quality control team to maintain consistency and resolve issues.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure all equipment meets operational and safety standards.
- Lead, train, and supervise plant supervisors, drivers, dispatchers, and production staff.
- Foster a collaborative, performance-driven work culture.
- Coordinate with sales, dispatch, project managers, and contractors to ensure on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction.
- Manage raw material inventories and work with suppliers to secure materials at competitive prices.
- Oversee logistics to minimize costs and ensure timely deliveries.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols in line with OSHA and company standards.
- Develop and manage operational budgets; monitor KPIs and financial performance.
- Report regularly to senior management on plant performance, costs, and profitability.
- Oversee preventative maintenance and ensure all plant and fleet equipment is in optimal working

- Proven leadership experience managing multiple plant locations and large teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and operations management software.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
