This role is essential in ensuring accurate billing and collections for medical services and equipment. - Manage accounts receivable, including follow-up on unpaid claims and resolving billing discrepancies.
- Utilize EMR and EHR systems to maintain accurate patient records and facilitate efficient billing processes.
- Communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients regarding billing inquiries and issues.
- Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations and coding practices to ensure compliance.
- Assist in the maintenance of medical records while adhering to confidentiality standards.
