Job Description:
Preparation of court documents and correspondence from transcription and/or attorney notes
Preparation and filing of court documents via state, federal and appellate electronic filing systems
Maintaining attorney calendars including scheduling court deadlines, depositions, telephone conferences, etc.
Communication with clients, courts and other counsel
Prepare new client files and maintenance of client files
Processing incoming, outgoing and inter-office mail
Entering attorney time into firm's time and billing software
Job Requirements:
1 - 2 years of legal experience with excellent organizational and proofreading skills with the ability to prioritize.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook, basic knowledge of Excel a plus.
Degree preferred but not required.
