Job Description:

This position is located in Salina Kansas.

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Manager to lead our IT support team and ensure the efficient delivery of IT services across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, along with excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with various departments. This role is crucial in maintaining high service standards and enhancing user satisfaction through effective management of IT services.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of IT experience in a manufacturing operations environment along with 10-15 years of management experience.

Duties

  • Implement and manage a manufacturing execution system (Apriso).
  • Manage and enhance engineering systems (Windchill, Creo, ENOVIA Catia) for multiple engineering groups.
  • Project Management Develop/implement a project management framework.
  • Manage IT department projects have proper documentation of responsibilities, time lines of all significant project for all IT groups.
  • Lead cybersecurity activities.
  • Develop additional security policies and operationalize completed policies.
  • Complete Security audits for internal and external clients.
  • Design Effectiveness improvements via policies, standards, and procedures and operational effectiveness by executing the policies and procedures.
  • Increase the depth of security effectiveness and maturity of the security systems.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • 10 years of IT experience in a manufacturing operations environment.
  • 10+ years of management experience.
  • Proven experience in an IT service management role or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components including LAN, firewalls, and server management.
  • Proficiency in using help desk software.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on software troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with users at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
