Job Description:

The Facility Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of manufacturing and office facilities. This position requires a proactive individual with strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities management. The ideal candidate will ensure that all systems are functioning efficiently, while also managing a team of maintenance staff to uphold safety and operational standards.

Duties

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
  • Manage daily operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Respond to all interior facility cleaning needs and requests that arise throughout the workday. Perform regular supplemental cleaning and sanitization of all areas of the facility
  • Perform outside cleaning and maintenance duties such as trimming trees, maintaining lawn sprinkler system, removing debris, de-icing walkways, or removing snow.
  • Perform special deep cleaning projects throughout the year.
  • Utilize schematics and logic controllers to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory management.
  • Train and supervise maintenance staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices in facilities management.

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 8+ years experience in building maintenance and repair.
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Solid understanding of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Experience working with contractors and skilled tradesmen.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • General contractor experience helpful but not necessary.
