Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in developing innovative solutions and driving projects to successful completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical design and development of electro-mechanical products. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and managerial skills to oversee the engineering processes as well as the ability to manage multiple people and projects ensuring high-quality outcomes while fostering a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering projects from conception through execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Oversee data collection and analysis to inform project decisions and improve processes.
  • Utilize schematic capture, PCB layout software and simulation tools.
  • Implement systems engineering practices to enhance product development efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain schematics for various engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and methodologies to keep the team at the forefront of industry advancements.
  • Manage project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk assessment to ensure project milestones are met effectively.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years or proven experience in an engineering management role or similar capacity, demonstrating strong leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis skills with a focus on interpreting complex datasets for informed decision-making.
  • Strong program/project management skills with 5+ years supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in optimizing mechanical design for cost, assembly, and simplicity.
  • Skilled with SolidWorks and proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Background in fabrication techniques and the ability to guide teams in hands-on projects is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
