Job Description: Located in Wichita, Kansas, a leading aerospace component maintenance and repair company is seeking a Director of Quality to manage and ensure high quality and efficiency in daily work operations while maintaining safety regulations and requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Liaise with the relevant regulatory bodies including FAA.
• Budgetary responsibility with accountability to the VP/GM and Controller.
• Responsibility for organizing and executing inside and outside audits.
• Maintain Repair Station and Fabrication Quality Control Manuals.
• Direct of Quality will ensure compliance with and oversight of all applicable certifications: FAA 145 Repair Station \ EASA Part 145 \ AS9110 quality system \ ITAR \ DOT (PHMSA) \ FAA Part 21 \ FAA Product Approval Holder (PAH)
• Responsible for CAR and Warranty programs.
• Ensure all employees comply with the relevant quality system manuals.
• Develop Key Performance Indicators to monitor all aspects of the quality system – provide monthly feedback to management team & host Annual Management Review.
• Drive continuous improvement of the quality system.
• Develop and implement robust training programs for all aspects of the quality system.
• Maintain the approved supplier list.

Job Requirements: • At least 10 years of component repair and overhaul experience.
• 3-5+ years of quality management or similar within an aerospace repair station or manufacturing environment.
• FAA A&P certification – Preferred.
• Must have a strong understanding of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, inspection methods and equipment used to determine airworthiness including reviewing and interpreting both FAA and Military maintenance manuals.
• Proficient in all MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
