Education:Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
Job Description:
Support testing and related activities for certification of new development products and for expanded qualification and characterization of existing products per customer requirements.
Manage all aspects of the process including authoring of test plans, coordinating/interfacing with engineering staff, scheduling testing/test facilities, conducting testing and authoring test reports to meet project schedules.
Execute test plans/programs to verify compliance to regulatory and quality requirements
Author certification test plans, test reports and various other project documentation
Coordinate activities with external test labs/resources
Assist with prototype build and evaluation
Design, build, and specify equipment necessary for testing products
Evaluate new technology components and designs to improve certification testing
Provide test support for production as required
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
Electrical Engineer Technician, technical Associate’s degree, or similar considered
Minimum of five years relevant experience required
Direct experience with industry, regulatory, and/or military standards/specifications
Familiarity/experience with RTCA DO-160, RTCA DO-311, MIL-STD-810G/MIL-STD-461F and/or FAA TSO preferred
Adept at using Oscilloscopes, DVMs, data acquisition and other electrical test equipment
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, emphasis on Word and Excel
