Develops complex layout and design drawings utilizing theoretical and practical design knowledge.
Works from preliminary schematics to primarily create 2D representations.
Uses CAD skills to create production drawings from customer supplied templates, files, or dimensional specifications.
Establishes design standards and configurations.
Ensures that drawings conform to applicable industry standards and codes
Reviews drawings for accuracy and quality.
Revises drawings from customer feedback toMakes drawings with sufficient dimensions, accurate bill of materials (BOMs), customer/project information including descriptions.
Uses understanding of material tolerances and tooling efficiencies to provide best nest and machine time estimates.
Documents job size and time for performance and efficiency reports.Utilizes knowledge of CNC machining tolerances to determine CAM tooling specifications.
Using CAM software (SigmaNest), applies part parameters and machine operations in preparation for nesting and posting to CNC machines.
Inputs parts into SigmaNest for production.Sets up and maintains an organized file system for production drawings.

Job Requirements: Must have at least 3 years of Sigmanest CAD experience
Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
