Job Description:

The President shall preside at all meetings of the membership and perform the following duties: (APPROXIMATELY 15 HOURS/MONTH)
(a) He/She shall preside at all meetings of the Executive Committee.
(b) He/She shall have general and active management of the business of this Advisory Board of Directors.
(c) He/She shall see that all orders and resolutions of the Advisory Board of Directors are brought to the Advisory Board of Directors.
(d) He/She shall have general superintendence and direction of all other officers of this corporation and see that their duties are properly performed.
(e) He/She shall submit a report of the operations of the program for the fiscal year to the Advisory Board of Directors and members at their annual meetings, and from time to time, shall report to the Board of Directors all matters that may affect this program.
Meet with the officers for lunch or breakfast once per month
Answer texts and emails about issues
Assisting when able to set up for events (less since COVID)
Preparing all paperwork (agenda, consent agenda, zoom setup(COVID) for Board Meetings
Work on budget committee with a lunch meeting once per month
Prepare UWC documents occasionally and sending to all board members
Work on issues occasionally such as building lease, attempts to buy a building, insurance, etc.

Job Requirements:

Previous management of a Board of Directors and committees overseeing operations of the organization.
