Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with the ability to manage various accounting functions such as payroll and accounts receivable. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations. The Accountant will work closely with payroll, billing, and company accounting initiatives.

Duties

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
  • Payroll processing using ADP and ensuring accuracy in employee compensation records.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support financial planning.
  • Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Interpret financial reports to provide insights into business performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure timely reporting.
  • Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and maintaining financial models.
  • Participate in audits and assist in the implementation of internal controls.

Job Requirements:
  • 3+ years proven experience in company accounting with payroll and accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Programs as well as ADP Payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and financial concepts.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with strong relevant experience.
