Job Description:As an Accountant your duties will include:
Provide direct supervision of accounts payable processors and accounting assistants
Ensure compliance with appropriate accounting principles and company processes
Prepare balance sheet supporting schedules and reconciliations
Develop a strong working relationship with client personnel
Respond to client requests and inquiries
Perform staff accountant duties (as required based on client staffing)
Review accounting assistant period close work
Review and/or prepare period financial statements
Meet reporting and filing deadlines
Assist in development of and maintain procedures to enhance efficiencies in accounting services
Provide training to new and existing staff as needed
Participates in new client onboarding as requested
Participate in staff performance evaluation process as requested
Must pass the Intacct Accounting Specialist exam and stay current on certification
Assist leadership team with special projects as needed
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting
Minimum of 3 years relevant accounting experience
Experience with accounting software and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Precise attention to detail
Comfortable working with colleagues in team focused environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Displays professionalism and confidentiality among clients and staff
Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under pressure of deadlines
