Job Description:

A large wholesale distributor is looking for an Inventory Associate to maintain inventory logs/reports of all products and supplies to include:

  • Reports any discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Receives into ERP inventory and files all delivery and inventory receipts.
  • Uses inventory software/ERP to enter and keep track of orders, receipts, returns, and supply.
  • Writes up inventory reports detailing any overstock or missing items.
  • Presents inventory reports at meetings.
  • Documents any defective or expired merchandise for return.
  • Submits orders for replenishment of inventory.
  • Reviews shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.

    • Job Requirements:
  • Candidates must have a High school diploma or some formal education.
  • Experience in retail and/or inventory sector is preferred.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
  • Exhibits ability to read and interpret inventory reports, receiving reports, sales reports, and packing slips.
  • Demonstrates strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Works well with a team.
